Artist Statement
I have been creating art from the age of 7, as far as I can recall and as a creator art is I voice expression without having to seek words and I love this ability to transform I values and thoughts, through paintings. My creativity focuses on the resonance between the message of the work and its audience.
My primary subjects reflect multiple aspects of the African diaspora, often depicting spiritual experiences with emphasis on Rastafari culture and a goal of portraying our "Blackness" as ancient yet evolving and celebrating life through the tricolor rainbow that represents all African/Black people.
