Self-Care Through Art
Oil on Canvas
40"x 30"
This piece represents a young black man at war with his thoughts, finally coming to grips with his sexuality as a heterosexual male. He was dealing with the fear of coming out to his god-fearing family. Scared of being himself in a world that demonizes people based on their sexuality and gender.
